It's been two whole years since Jiraiya, the ledgendary sannin, took Naruto Uzumaki under his wing and the pair left Konoha. I

[/color]n two years a lot has changed. All of Naruto's friends have grown stronger since his departure, especially his rival, Sasuke who still resides with Orochimaru. The great nations are all on edge, well aware of the iminant threat posed by Orochimaru and the Akatsuki. As a result allegiances are wearing thin, there is an air of hostility on the borders and it seems the world is on the brink of another great war. No nation will survive this without allies and so the up-coming chuunin exams will be their final opertunity to measure each other and pick sides.

Jiraiya and Naruto are not due to return to Konoha for another six months and if things continue the way they are going it seems they will be returning to a home at war or even worse to a home that has been trampled, crushed and conquered.[/size]
