Kakuzu could not have been more content, not only did he somehow manage to lose his partner back in the forest, he was so close to his bounty that he could almost smell the ryo. Kakuzu was the living, correction living dead proof of how persistent a bounty hunter can be. Kakuzu had been following this particular bounty for over a week now, somehow without Hidan even realizing that Kakuzu was taking his partner along for a long ride. If Hidan even got word that Kakuzu had been dragging him along for a week for a bounty Kakuzu would not hear the end of it. Kakuzu swore under his breath at the though of his partner, snide remarks and that smug attitude that pissed Kakuzu off, yet he is not like all his previous partners, that lucky bastard is immortal, thus Kakuzu simply could not kill him.
Kakuzu's bounty final destination was Tanzuku town as he was a compulsive gambler and he would never pass the opportunity to blow his money on something so benine as gambling. Kakuzu could not simply understand gamblers. Kakuzu continued walking through the extremely busy streets of Tanzuku in pursuit of his victim. Finally Kakuzu was close enough that he could touch the back of his head. Kakuzu focused chakra in his hand and formed the handseals for Earth Release: Earth Spear, Kakuzu's hand was now rock solid, his already brutal physical strength amplified at least by 100 times. Kakuzu unwound the stitches connecting his wrist to the rest of his arm and his arm flew out at the target. Impact, the target flew in the air and peirced a massive, gaping hole in a nearby building, people began to run in fear at the sight of this grisly Akatsuki bounty hunter. "Your time is up, I'm going to take your head for a nice wad of cash." Kakuzu then lunged at the bounty kicking him in the head and as his feet sickenly crunched upon connecting with the side of his head, Kakuzu continued the combo and with his other leg swung it and it connected with his midsection.
Kakuzu, was probably the most powerful Akatsuki member when it came to brute strength after The demon shark Hoshigake Kisame. Yet no other Akatsuki member, as far as he knew, possesed all 5 elements. On top of it all Kakuzu was partially immortal, as he has 5 hearts, 4 stored in the masks on his back and one which belonged to him since birth. Kakuzu walked over to the heap of a bloody mess that was his bounty. "Your time is up now, any last prayers?" Before his victim had the chance to respond Kakuzu's fist flew at him once again and grabbed him by the neck attempting to crush his trachea. The bounty was now gasping for air, his face turning a deep shade of blue. Kakuzu's green bloodshot iris was icy cold and with a tinge of sheer malice.
