Just as she finished questioning Kohaku, a faint breeze stirred up, bringing a multitude of scents to her nose. As alert as she was, her senses were automatically heightened due to her bloodline and she paid them attention, narrowing her eyes when one smell just didn’t fit. She could recognise it though. Another human in the trees, with no discernable chakra signature to go with it. Masked again. It was enough warning for her that she was already half turned to his position, one kunai still aimed at Kohaku, another directed at Hiro when he emerged. She recognised the Bingo book in his hand, and wondered briefly why a genin had one. Usually only chuunin and above had them, though there was no reason why a genin shouldn’t have one. At his words she just stared for a moment, then muttered under her breath; “They’re coming out of the woodwork. Literally!” Resisting the extremely strong urge to start bashing her head against the nearest tree to see if that snapped her out of this crazy hallucination she must be having, she took a deep, calming breath, sheathed her two kunai and called for the most recent genin to appear to come back, as he’d started to leave. “Alright, Yamaki-san, Akechi-san, stand next to each other for a second and stay still,” She ordered. She moved to the nearest – Kohaku – and promptly smacked him upside the head quite forcefully. She did the same to Hiro, then stepped back and announced almost cheerfully; “Okay, you’re who you say you are – otherwise any henge that was possibly in place that I didn’t notice should have dispelled or at least been detected when I just hit you both. Sorry if it felt strange – I was using my chakra to disrupt your own, on skin-level anyway. Henge’s are only skin-deep after all. Oh, yeah, sorry if it hurt too,” She added as an afterthought, as if it wasn’t of consequence. She stood and looked at the three genin before her, wondering just what the odds were that she would run into three of them when no one else should have had missions in this area. This was crazy. Still, she guessed having the company would be good, provided the personalities in the group didn’t start clashing. ‘I’ve got a feeling the butterfly ninja is going to annoy me,’ She thought briefly, glancing at Kohaku and his decidedly bright attire. Yanagi sighed, running a hand distractedly through thick dark hair, the single streak of crimson tangling around her fingers, then addressed the rather odd group she found herself in as she dropped her arm back to her side again. “Okay, seeing as we’re all heading in the same direction, may as well travel together. You guys call me what you like, though if it’s anything rude you can expect to be thrown at the nearest tree. Just Yanagi or something along those lines will do. For future reference, Akechi-san, it’s Fuyu, not Fyuu. Now does anyone want to rest before we continue on to Konoha? We’ll be running – I intend to get there before sunset, so keep up. Any questions or complaints?” She looked at the three of them again, giving Misaki a slightly wider smile than the other two, though she was by no means hostile. She simply knew Misaki a bit better, and the female genin had made a good first impression, which thus far was almost all she had to go on to judge the three genin’s character. [OOC: It’s fine, Allelujah, but next time would you ask all members of the thread? Thanks ]

Kohaku blinked at the new surge of information and the aftermath of the smack he'd recieved. This person was...very commanding. No wonder she was a chuunin, he didn't know much about her but he wondered if she would be bossing around a little genin squad any time soon. He looked down at himself as he registered the strange looks she was giving him and wondered why. Well...he supposed he was rather eccentric for a ninja: patterened tights, yellow boots, ruffled arm-warmers with a grey vest. All together it was very random, but it was him and hey if you'd almost died you'd wanna bring out the best in yourself, right? He didnt give much thought anymore to what people thought of him as long as he was happy. He also tended to get into trouble with people too as he often spoke the truth when one would normally lie to please people. "You," He began, saluting Yanagi "are very bossy." He smiled and lowered his hand again, waiting for the onslaught. He was sure this girl was a lot less tolerant that the other two people here. Misaki seemed quieter and less commanding, Hiro, he didnt know much about but he'd saved Kohaku the trouble of explaining who he was so he was greatful.
He was a genin yes, though he had the skill of a chuunin, possibly a jounin if he pushed it. He didnt show his skill anymore though, what was the point in recieving titles if he just wanted to enjoy life? When the chuunin exams came around though, he would no doubt try his best, he was still a hardworker by nature and no amount of trying to resist his previous personality would change that. So when he looked at Yanagi, the commanding chuunin he smiled genuinley, he knew he could recieve the same title, but he want too hasty about it. It felt nice to be here with four people though, it made him feel part of a team, even if they had only just met each other.

Misaki glanced over as Hiro appeared. Again she stayed quiet as Yanagi spoke. By their looks and the way they acted they were stronger than most Genin. She decited to allow then to talk to Yanagi without her interfearing. As Yanagi told the others was she was doing, and offered to travel with then Misaki looked at the others slightly hopefuly. This would be the cloest she had ever come to a team, even though they just meet. She had normaly only trained one-on-one with a Chuunin or rarely Jounin.
Misaki had dropped her hands to her sides as she waited to start moving again. Her only motion toward Hiro was a slight nod as he spoke her name. She looked at Yanagi then back to the others. She shifted her wait in slight impatiants. She wanted to get home. She was ready to start her missions again. Her vacation was fun, but she wanted some action. She anlso needed to catch up on training for the Chuunin Exams. Then the thought hit her. Your both Genins, are you going to be in the Chuunin Exams? she asked. She may have to go against these two, though she doubted it, she should get to know them a little. Her purple bangs fell in her face as she looked up at the males. She brushed then aside so she could see.

The sudden smack to the forehead by a the bossy Chunnin somewhat supprised and irritated Allelujah a bit. His first thought, or rather his other side's first thought, was the kill the woman for it, however he reliquished the thought once she gave her explanation of why she did it, so he just smiled at her "It was neccessary, though you could have been a little bit more gentle ya know, my forehead is numb." he stated rubbing his forehead, trying to get some feeling back. He glanced over at Kohaku after his bossy comment and started to laugh at the fact that he was calling a higher ranked Ninja bossy. However when he heard Misaki's questioned he silenced his laughing and turned to answer her.
"Probally not, unlike most Gennin I was never assigned to a squad, due to lack of Jonnin Sensei's during my Graduation. As such I know only Academy level Ninjutsu, no Genjutsu, and barely any Taijutsu and if I recall correctly you have to be a part of a Squad to enter the exam's, so I doubt that I will be aloud to enter." he half-way lied. He lied to partially hide the fact that he was actually stronger than most Gennin level Ninja, in fact his lie was also a test to see how well they could observe things. For a Gennin to become a Chunnin they would have to show skill in observation, hardly any untrained Gennin could hide their Chakra and hardly anyone who was unskilled in Taijutsu had a body that was a well trained as his, that combined with the fact that he had a Tanto on his back was more than enough to prove that he was stronger than he let on.
Taking a moment to glance at the sun, he noticed it was getting later and it would be a pain getting into the village after sun-down. "I don't think we will have time rest Fuyu-san, the sun's about to set and once that happen's we will be more liable to be attacked by badits, so I sudgest we get a move on." he said turning to Fuyu. "Oh and by the way its stolen, the Bingo Book I mean, your probally wondering why a Gennin has one, I picked it up during training some Badit dropped it after I killed him" he said, stating the last part a little bluntly as though he was unaffected by the fact that he had acutally killed someone. He pulled the Item out of his pocket to hand it the her. "You can have it back if you wish."

Yanagi noticed Misaki’s quiet shifts, betraying her emotions to Yanagi’s trained eye. “We’ll get going soon, but first I want to sort out a few things,” She told the group, though she gave the other girl the faintest of nods. Yanagi wanted to get home, too. For all her brother and her genin teammate was annoying, she missed them.
Plus she’d come up with a few new pranks she wanted to try out on them whilst she’d been away.
Turning her attention back to the task at hand, Yanagi raised an eyebrow slightly at Kohaku’s comment, wondering briefly what her reaction should be. Hitting him hadn’t done very much, so... Deciding, she gave him a sweet, clearly fake smile as she responded. “And you, Yamaki-san, can do two hundred laps around Konoha with a twenty-kilo pack as soon as we get back, for your cheek. Feel free to try and reduce the number on the way back,” She said airily, already set on the genin running at least one hundred, even if he managed to get into her good books enough to reduce his sentence. It wasn’t that she disliked the guy, there was no hostility in her tone – she just enjoyed teasing, and Kohaku was making himself a very easy target.
Her taunting done, she turned to Hiro to reply to his mild complaint. “Sorry ‘bout that, but if you’re gonna hit something, there’s no point in doing it lightly.” Well, okay. Now she’d finished taunting. “Plus hitting you with force would have worked in my favour if you had been an enemy ninja in disguise,” Yanagi added, deciding she needed a slightly more professional reason for her actions, though she believed in the last one about as much as she believed a mother bear would leave you alone if you got in between her and her cubs. She quieted to listen to Hiro as he answered Misaki’s question, and was immediately reminded of the conspicuous lack of chakra that had gone with his scent earlier. Doubled with the tantô at his shoulder and what could be seen of his clearly honed physique, Yanagi was doubtful at best, especially of his ‘barely any Taijutsu’. Still, she didn’t question him – she wondered what the others would have to say about it – and nodded in agreement when he mentioned the time.
“I’ve already rested, and Misaki told me she was fine to keep going, but I didn’t know how long the two of you have been travelling without a break. Since we all seem ok, let’s get going,” With that, she accepted the proffered book and set off towards Konoha, a wry comment passed back to the rest of her impromptu team; “I’d like to see any bandit best me,” She wasn’t cocky, per say, but she was confident that her ability bettered that of any bandit roaming the roads. Besides, the only bandits that could catch them in the treetops were other ninja, or civilians armed with long range or throwing weapons.
After that she picked up the pace, travelling quicker than she had originally planned. The time bought by her shortened rest period had well been used up, and now she was behind her previous schedule. Still, the pace she set should get them back in time, providing no one lagged behind.

The moment Fuyu started running, Allelujah immediately started following her. Like one would expect from a Chunnin she was fast, normally Gennin were unable to keep up with Chunnin, due to lack of Chakra Control and lack of physical training, however for Allelujah speed was childsplay. During his training speed was a necessity, without speed his Kenjutsu attack's would be useless. So he spent most of his time building up his speed and stamina, now in term's of speed he could probally match a low-leveled Jonin.
Allelujah kept moving in sync with Yanagi step for step, whenever she'd slow down, he'd slow down and vise versa. When he heard her somewhat coc.ky comment he visible eye slightly darkened. "I wouldn't be to sure of yourself Fuyu-san, you maybe a Chunnin but you have three Gennin following you, say one of them gets captured then what are you going to do. A mere Badit may not be able to best you in one-on-one combat, but with a hostage you would be bested with ease." he said in a tone that would make one think that he was a seasoned Shinobi. Oddly enough, the entire time he was talking to her, Allelujah's eye was focused on everything around him, constantly going back and forth, scanning the area for traps or enemy's. One could tell by looking at him that he was very observent of his surrounding's, even somewhat paranoid.

Misaki listened to Hiro's words. Then for a moment she felt stupid. She had forgotten about the squads that were required. Wait. Who were the squads? She hadn't heard mention of any lately, at least since the last Chuunin exam. She something about the way Hiro acted made her sure he was far stronger than her. For one she couldn't since any chakra from him. He must have mastered Chakra Control some time ago. He also seemed to know more than he let on. But that didn't matter now. She wondered if she would be allowed to be in the Chuunin Exams. Though she had gone through a little extra training after becoming a Genin she hadn't been assigned a squad. Yanagi, are their any Leaf village squads? she asked. She was beginning to fear she wouldn't be in the exams after all.
As they started moving again she noticed that Hiro was keeping perfect pace with Yanagi. Though she stayed a few paces behind Yanagi for respect, she couldn't keep pace with the Chuunin for long anyway. Though she traveled a lot, and still hadn't fully mastered Chakra Control. She looked over at Kohaku for a moment to see if he had kept up, but that was all. She was only thinking about the Chuunin exams, and why all these ninja decided to gather in the same place. Was it coincidence? Or was it for a reason? She watched the others, trying to learn anything she could about them. Not that she was afraid of them, but that they all seemed to be different than other ninja she had meet. She wanted to understand them better.
( I don't mind if you join. The thread would have gotten old without someone new. But it is better if you ask first.)

Kohaku kept up with the group easily, though he wasn't really paying much attention to the conversation going on around him, he preferred to study the leaves and trees as he passed. Nature interested him, art interested him, it had before but he'd never pursued his hobbies in favor of his studies.
He'd nodded when Yanagi told him of his punishment, though as soon as he was home he planned to see his family, eat some food and interact with anybody he could find. 200 laps around Konoha would cut into his time to enjoy himself...sure it would train his body but he wasn't fussed on that anymore. Besides his punishment was far from fair, he'd only spoke the truth, plus she'd smacked him in the head. He could be chuunin by now too if he wanted, it was just that though, he didn't want it. He was happy with his own carefree simple life. He wouldn't have minded teaching if he were to become chuunin though, he liked people, they interested him.
As he jumped through the trees he wondered curiously about the people he was traveling with and how long it would take them to get to Konoha. Maybe if they got back before it went dark he'd watch the sunset...
Hmm He thought Life's good for a ninja when your main focus is to enjoy it...
In that moment he wondered why ninjas worked so hard sometimes, sure he himself still studied fiercely but he also took time out to appreciate his life. He saw his fellow shinobi sometimes, they studied night and day, only caring about getting better and becoming the best. When he saw that he was reminded of his past self. Hardly any friends, mind only on his goal, hardly talked to his parents... Kohaku didn't want to become the best anymore. Of course if his friends were in danger he'd use his skills to the best of his ability, if he wanted to become Anbu he would. One day he would become chuunin and Jonin, for now he was content.
He looked around him, wondering if he'd spaced out and was being talked to, but his fellow travelers were still talking among themselves so he did not butt into their conversation.
OOC: Sorry I took a while to reply and my post is probably not even that good haha I was struggling to think of what to write at all >_<

Yanagi noted Hiro’s tone, unsurprised at his reaction. Though she hadn’t sounded arrogant about it, her words had probably seemed cocky, though she was still confident despite what the strong genin had said. Yanagi had thought of a hostage situation, but she didn’t see many people considering negotiating with a charging wolf or lioness. They’d most likely drop the hostages and run. “I did consider that possibility, Akechi-san. And I am certain that even if a hostage was taken, I have a way out of that situation without necessarily needing to fight, though I probably would deal out some damage anyway just to scare them. However, since I can see a chance of sparring with you sooner or later, I’m not going to give away my little tactic unless I have to. I like to keep my surprises just that,” She replied evenly, her tone polite but nothing more. She hadn’t looked at him when she spoke; too preoccupied with scanning the area with all her senses and her masked chakra for any possible threats. Though she may act rather blasé and unconcerned with what was going on, she was just as conscious of danger as Hiro, and always kept her guard up, even if it may not seem like it. She paused to nod at Hiro, then dropped back to listen to Misaki, running level with the younger kunoichi. “I’m not too sure; if I’m honest. From what I’ve heard, the genin who wish to take the exam can take it, but I’m not sure why some of you haven’t been put in teams. They may be doing things differently this year, or they may decide to put you in teams nearer the time of the exams. This is just my speculation, mind, so don’t go taking it for fact. Not everyone is told how the exams work; I’m probably just one of the chuunin who doesn’t need to know.” Yanagi explained, shrugging a little. She wasn’t too bothered about the exams anyway, but she felt she should try and stop the genin from worrying. “I’m sorry I don’t know more, but I wouldn’t worry if I were you. I’m pretty sure you’ll all be able to take it.” Yanagi assured Misaki, smiling. It was unusual that so many genin weren’t on teams; Yanagi was pretty sure it wasn’t just these three. Still, the Hokage and Jounin involved in the exams must know what they’re doing. [OOC: Don't worry Kohaku, it's fine, and everyone has their off-days. You'll get better with practice; everyone does ]

Misaki listened to Yanagi. She nodded at the Chuunin's words. I understand, thank you Yanagi. She said. She looked at Kohaku and Hiro again. They were all different, very different, but all belonged to the village Hidden in the Leaves. Now she understood the stories that Tsume had told her when she was a child.
She looked in the distance ahead of them. The sun was setting but the out-lines of the buildings of the Leaf Village could be easily seen from here. Where almost there! she shouted with exctiement. Then she looked away from the others in imbearissment. She relized too late that she probably looked childish to the others. Sorry. she mummbled. She looked back at the village. There were villagers in the entrance way. Who could that be? she thought. Why would someone wait for them to return?

Allelujah smirked at Yanagi's statement "I'll look foward to that Fuyu-san" he said as he continued to move towards the village. As he listen to the Chunnin explain the Chunnin Exam's to Misaki, he couldn't help but take an intrest in it. It really didn't supprise him that she didn't know much about the Exam, most people under the Rank of Jonnin wearn't aware of how the Chunnin Exam was going to be run until just a few day's before the Exam itself.
After a few seconds of silence Allelujah was about to say that the village was just ahead when Misaki shouted it out instead. His visible eye began to twitch in annoyance at volume of her voice. "You don't have to shout you know"he said as rubbed his ears. Looking up ahead he saw that there was a group of villiger's in the entry way. 'thats odd....why would a group of villager's be gathered here so late in the evening' he thought to himself as he slowed his speed to a point where he fell behind the other's. He really didn't like the villager's of Konoha, they all sorta hated him because of the way he was born, so he thought it best to try and blend with the small group of Shinobi that he had came with. As they got closer to the village Allelujah hid himself between both Kohaku and Misaki, it was an odd move that he figured the Chunnin that was with him would notice, however it was neccessary in order to avoid suspicion, espcially if someone let slip his real Identity, that would probally make both Kohaku and Yanagi turn on him in an instant. Misaki however would be different, she was from Kiri, she probally wouldn't care if he was the creation of Orochimaru of the Sannin, since he didn't betray the village of Kiri.

Kohaku looked toward the approaching villagers, as clueless as the others, also curious about who they, were. Then again he was also curious about who the people he was with were, he had become acquainted with them but it wasn't like he knew an awful lot about them. He suspected Yanagi was hiding something, also there was something curious about Hiro, Misaki seemed like a nice person, he smiled at her enthusiastic shout toward the village and rolled his eyes at Hiro's complaint. "Check it!" He said aloud, squinting toward the approaching gates, it wasn't a request, more an explanation, one that suited kids in caps that hung round on corners with skateboards, but hey, Kohaku was a mixed sort of person, he could get away with the phrase. He gave his legs a heavier push and relished the feeling as the blood pumped through his veins and the wind rushed through his fiery hair, sining in the sun that broke through the many leaves overhead and dappled on his skin. He awaited their arrival at the village entrance.

Yanagi narrowed her eyes at the gathering around the gate, even as she smiled at Misaki’s cheerful exclamation. It was a child’s reaction, but it didn’t irritate the chuunin. Be a child for as long as you can, because childhood rarely lasted long in this life. She didn’t respond to Hiro’s annoyed response; some people just had a short temper for little things like excitement. Yanagi almost unconsciously leapt forward to take point of their little group, noting Hiro’s slightly odd behaviour as he dropped further back, but didn’t comment on it. She was too preoccupied with what could be happening at the main entrance to the village to do so. She doubted they would be waiting for anyone in their impromptu team. Maybe there was an important mission expected back? She shook off the worry that there may be something wrong, and instead raised her hand so that those behind her could see; signalling to slow their approach as she led the way down out of the treetops and to the ground, falling easily out of the pattern of jumping and into the steady rhythm of running. Now that they were within sight of the crowd, people were turning to watch their approach, their eyes tracking them as Yanagi’s group reached them and slowed to a stop. “What’s going on?” She asked, directing her question at someone she knew to be a Jounin since, glancing around at the people present, she didn’t see anyone who seemed to be in charge of the little meeting. There were only a few she knew, and most of those she only knew by name, not personally. There were ninja and civilians alike, distinguishable by their choice of attire if nothing else. Done surveying the crowd, she returned her attention to the Jounin she’d addressed, the faintest hint of a frown on her brow betraying her confusion and worry. [OOC: Whoever's got an idea for these people being here, feel free to take control of the Jounin as far as explaining the situation goes. Misaki looked around at the people forming the small crowd. Their faces were stern and lined with worry. She glanced at the rest of the returning group. From the look on their faces she wasn't the only one of the four not sure what happened while they were away. her attention snapped to the Jounin as Yanagi spoke. The Jounin was silent for a moment. Then he spoke. The village was attacked. A small group of powerful, unmarked rouges entered, without suspicion, and attacked random ninja through out the village. No one was killed, but a few were severely wounded. All of the rouges escaped before anyone had time to react. They only left about a half-hour ago. We are gathering a group of ninja now to pursue them. they ninja going are gathered near the hospital. he said. His voice slightly strained, as if he hadn't said all there was to say. Misaki looked at him for a moment, trying to decide what it was he had left out, and why. Then she looked at Yanagi.
Should we go to where they others are gathered to see what their planning? Misaki asked in almost a whisper. She didn't want the Jounin to know she didn't fully trust his explanation. Then she looked at the other two. Hiro and Kohaku. What do you two think? she asked still in a quiet tone. She wasn't sure why hearing about an attack by skilled rouges made her spine tingle, though somewhere in her mind she guessed they weren't just any rouges. They had a reason for coming here, and how many did the Jounin say there were? A few, was that three? Four? Or only two? That last thought made her look over her shoulder.
Standing up straight and looking like she wasn't worried about being attacked by rouges, Misaki, looked over the faces of the crowd again. Not she noticed that many of the ninja present looked tired and wounded, some still had fresh blood seeping from wounds. None were serous, but they would still needed to be looked at. I want to help, are you coming? she asked the other three. Although she was only a Genin she still wanted to show that she was willing to do anything for her village, even if it meant fighting an unknown enemy.

Allelujah listened to the Jounin speak about the the village being attacked by an unknown group of Rouge Ninja's, now this intrigued him. The thought of fighting a group of actual ninja made he body shiver in exitement. He turned to look back at Misaki and smiled almost evilly as his gold right eye, which had been hidden behind his hair up until now, peered out from behind a gap in his hair. "Im game" he said almost sadistically, however the moment he said this his right hand quickly came up to cover up his right eye, he couldn't let Hallelujah loose, not right here. Allelujah knew that his second personality was ready for blood, and would be fighting for control over their body until he gave him some. After a few seconds he started panting slightly and looked back up at her "I *pant* mean sure..*pant*..." he said he voice back to normal, aside from the panting. As stood there catching his breath his mind went into overtime, 'wait why would the ninja just come her and attack the village and leave, and how did they get past Konoha's Detection Barrier, unless, thats it, they haven't left yet, I need to tell Yanagi' he thought as he calmly took a few moments to catch his breath, slowly he turned to Yanagi and grabbed the side of her arm, gentely pulling her away from the crowd.
When they were far enough away not to be heard Allelujah looked up at Yanagi "Listen Fuyu-san, if they that their are only a few of them that would mean two or three correct?, How could such a small band of Ninja break through the Konoha's Barrier Detection Jutsu undetected and cause so much damage?" he said in the same serious tone that he was using on the way back to Konoha, while at the same time keeping he voice down to a whisper, so he wouldn't alert the others. "I think that one of the Rouge Ninja was a former Shinobi of Konoha, in fact Im sure of it, how else could they have gotten past the barrier without the code. Not only I assume that the Rouge's didn't just come here to cut and run, no I think that they are still here in the village somewhere." he said, looking straight into the Chunnin's eye's, with a look that told her that he was being completely serious.
Allelujah turned to look at Masaki and Kohaku, then turned back to Yanagi. "I think it would be better if we didn't go to the hospital like everyone else because if my hunch is correct and the enemy is the kind that I believe they are then thats what they want. They are probally waiting for all the Jounin to assemble at the Hospital and the be sent out on a mission to find them while that hide within the village waiting for the right moment to strike. I think it would be best if we make a small teamand stay here in the village to search for them. We would have a better chance of finding them in a team of four than we would in large numbers, I think you, me, and our two friends over there...." making a hand jester to Masaki and Kohaku "...should be enough, beside's if my hunch is wrong and they did run from the village then the more expierenced Jounin should catch them, correct? That combined with numerous other things, such as the ANBU Bingo Book that was in his possession, the ability to slightly detect Chakra Signature's, being out in the forest of Konoha alone despite being a Gennin that wasn't on a mission, and finally the little psycho moment he had pulled only a few seconds ago, which he doubted that she had missed, would probally have her very suspicous of him.
