Yuzumi glanced around lazily as she strolled gentley through the misty thicket of tree's a few miles outside of the hidden village. Too many people had been getting on her nerves, she needed to get out and relax, clear her head before she snapped. She was too young to have known the era of the bloody mist but some of her elders had told she had inherited it's violent temper. She was not afraid of her anger, in fact she often channeled it and embraced it but as a jounin of the village it wouldn't do if she attacked every snot nosed genin that got under her feet. As a result she had taken to wandering off alone when she wasn't need for missions to make sure she kept it her temper under control.
This particular wooded area was blanketed in a haze of mist most of the time, just like the village and today was no different. She knew her way well and didn't need to feel for the tree's as she headed for the little lake on the far side of the thicket. It was a placid little expanse of water, the mist hanging above it's smooth, undisturbed surface. When she reached it she knelt down by the black surface and washed her face in the cool, refreshing water. Droplets of water clung to the head band that hung loosely around her neck as she took a deep breath of the fresh air. It was nice to forget about everything and just have some time to be by herself - not that she was much of a social person anyway.
Her peaceful thoughts were disturbed quite suddenly, a branch on the mist veiled shore opposing her current location snapped with a sound that resounded through the trees on all sides of the lake. She stood up and scanned through the mist trying to make out what had made the sound. It was more than likely just an animal of some sort but as a ninja she was naturally suspicious of such things.

Mizu no Kuni, the land of water, the weather was wet has always. Only a few rays of sun could penetrate the tough layer of clouds. The people were used to this and most shinobis from here used this has an advantage, weather it was for scouting or battling, they always used their surroundings. This could be troublesome, a outside shinobi would be in trouble, he was out of his element and would probably be defeated. Although some may tryumph...
A shadow moved swiftly through the misty lands, it was fast, it was hiding using the trees to hide itself whenever someone would appear. The shadow wasn't big enough to be of a grown-up. It was of a teenager, and a very temperamental one at that! It was Yami, speeding through the mist at his maximum speed. He was very aggravated, all because of a talk with the guy that usually gave the missions. Yami was forbidden to see the Hokage, he never knew why, but it didn't matter. Although it was worse. Yami had to listen to some crummy asshole who decided which mission he would take, the problem was the fact that he didn't let Yami decide, he just decided for him! It was so aggravating. This time Yami asked to join a mission regarding something that happened in Mizu no Kuni. Yami didnt know what happen but it involved the Mizukage, indirectly, but it involved him! He wanted to go but the guy refused and gave another mission to him. Yami declined, he said it was that mission or nothing. The guy started babbling on about Yami never participating in another mission if he didn't do it. Yami got pissed and told the guy to fuck off, he left the village without anyone knowing, he even evaded the anbu's who usually watched him.
Yami wanted to investigate, he wanted to know more about the Mizukage, otherwise he wouldn't know what to do when he finally encountered him face-to-face. He needed info on him so he decided to run to Mizu no Kuni, a very childish attitude, but he didn't care about that, this was more important to him. Yami left the Konoha band at home so no one would recognize him has a konoha shinobi, it was best if no one knew about where he came from, so nothing terrible happens again, just like last time...
After a few miles he finally started feeling tired, he needed to rest a bit. He spotted a small lake back a bit, it was a quiet enough place to rest, or so he thought. Has he reached the lake he spotted a shadow by the shore. Yami hid in the trees to avoid being seen. Yami didn't know if it was a shinobi or just a civilian... Yami got an idea, using his Teshi Sendan he would make some noise and see how the figure reacted. So he did, he pointed his finger at some branches and a white dart like bone flew through it. It made some noise has it passed through the branches, it was silent but loud enough for a shinobi to react to it. And so the figure did, it standed up and looked for anything suspicious. Yami bit his lower lip, it was a Shinobi... Dammit! Yami had to get the hell out of there, but he also needed to rest. Just a bit longer, so he could at least catch his breath...

Yuzumi was irritated, she didn't care what had made the sound but it had pissed her off as it had disturbed her alone time. Now she was going to get her own back, be it an animal or a person, but first she had to figure out what it was exactly. She reached into the pouch on one of her belts to draw out a few kunai. She proceeded to launch these one after the other along the misty lake shore around where the sound had come from. She watched as the disappeared into the thick, enveloping mist and listened intently for the sounds of them landing. By throwing multiple kunai over a broad area she increased her chances of hitting/flushing out her target. She was used to finding people and fighting in low visibilty as where most shinobi from Kirigakure and so she was confident she'd find the creature that had earned her wrath.
She flicked her damp, black har behind her head, creating a spray of water droplets as her eyes scanned the fog for signs of life. She didn't care who it was she was going to make them wish they'd been quieter and avoided her attention. The thought of her retribution caused a faint smile to appear on her face. She was sadistic and nothing appealed to that part of her nature more than hurting someone who had pissed her off, even if she was over-reacting to the most minor of annoyances. Her firey temper often made the simplest of things seem worthy of punishment.
She concentrated chakra to her feet and stepped steadily out onto the lake and continued to walk slowly towards the shore. Little ripples eminated from around her feet with each step, distorting her reflection on the dark surface as she moved off into the mist. Her face was a picture of confidence, ehr feirce eyes flashing this way and that and the cruel smile playing on her lips.

Yami waited there, on top of the tree waiting for the figure to do something. Suddenly from out of nowhere, the figure started launching Kunais at the spot were the bones hit. Was he or she insane?... Why waste kunais on something that could be nothing? Maybe the figure was having some fun the Kunais? Possibly, but that proved it was a ninja. Yami scratched his forehead has he tried to see who was that figure. But the figure stepped in the lake trying to find the source of the noise. Yami sighed, he was now curious to see who was it. Curiosity killed the cat, one might say... Has the figure walked above the water Yami was using the trees to stay hidden. He was trying to find a opening through the mist, but it was useless, it was way too thick. Yami was starting to get aggravated, he couldn't be seen but wanted to see his or her face.
Yami decided to make some more noise and try luring her closer to the trees. Yami literally grabbed his shoulder, pulling it out of his body, it was accompanied by the sound of bones growing, a rather disturbing sound, whether or not it was loud or silent. Yami's shoulder was already replaced by another exactly equal to the one he pulled, after a few silent cracks the shoulder went in the place it should be. "Let's see if this draws it's attention...", Yami said to himself has he tossed the shoulder bone in the water close to the tree. Yami was squinting his eye, trying to see the figures face, but the mist kept getting thicker and thicker. The figure needed to get closer. But now was too late to grab another bone, the sound would surely give away Yami's position...

Yuzumi heard each kunai land with the dull thud of earth and wood, they had not found the target, her eyes still searched for any movement incase she had flushed the creature/person out of hiding. A faint sound drew her searching gaze to the tree's that towered around the lake, huge and dark shapes in the fog. A shape in the mist caught her eye, it was some sort of object falling from the trees on the shore. It splashed as it landed in the water ahead of her. She looked up, in the direction the object had come from, without breaking stride.
Once more she reached into her pouch and withdrew a few kunai. She threw them as before in a scattered pattern up into the treetops where she was now convinced the one who deserved her anger was lurking. She didn't care if it was a bird or a person she was going to get it and make it suffer. As she continued moving forward her attention turned to the water although she was listening intently to sounds from above. The whiteness of the object was startling as it sat on the lake bed a foot or so below her in the shallows by the shore. She knelt down and dunked her arm into the water to retreive it. As she pulled it from the lake the water splashed off it's smooth white surface. It was a bone and if she knew her anatomy well enough she was quite sure it was a shoulder bone. Her thoughts that it might be an animal left, this was a human bone and it was unlikely any beast in this part of the world, that could find itself in the tree's, would have a bone like this for any reason. If it had been a bird of prey scavaning a corpes somewhere the bone would have been covered in gouges from it's beak and talons. No, this indicated human activity.
"Enough cowardice, show yourself!" she called out in her fierce voice. She was angrier than before, her expression had dropped the twisted smile. She wanted to hurt this person, for hiding in the trees, for throwing a bone of all things to grab her attention. She turned her head to the tree's once more and continued to search for the person in the mist.

Yami was trying to see the figure straight, but he couldn't the mist was too thick, even though he could hear and sense the presence of the person, he couldn't see her. But what he could see was the figure reaching for Kunais. Has he heard the kunais raddling, Yami thought to himself SHIT! I should've waited a little longer!, then the kunais were coming straight at him, the problem wasn't the kunais, the problem was the noise they would make him Yami would deflect them... But he had to do so, otherwise he would be pierced! Yami's bones from his left arm and leg rose up, appearing from under the flesh and quickly growing, they formed a shield against the Kunais. Yami felt has they pierced into the bones. To avoid deflecting the Kunais Yami made the bones weaker then usually so the Kunais would stick to it and make a sound that seemed they hit the wood. Yami grabbed the Kunais and was about to throw them, it was like instinct. Although he didn't, he put them in his pouch and watched while retracting the bones.
All Yami's work went for naught... He could finally see the figures face, it was a girl, a beautiful girl in fact, although really pissed off at Yami's performence... Yami didn't know what to do, if he were to run away, she would run after him, but if Yami stayed he had to fight her, and that meant using his Kekkai Genkai. Seeing that she was a Kirigakure Shinobi that could bring trouble, she could let Mizukage know there was still a Kaguya surviver! DAMM IT! WHAT TO DO, WHAT TO DO?!, Yami was cursing the day he had the stupid idea of coming to Mizu no Kuni. SHe didn't seen reasonable, she seemed more of the kind, 'I'm gonna kick your ass!', well so be it! If Yami had to go down, at least he would go down fighting. Although he wanted to try a different approach rather then charging head on...
Yami sat on the tree branch, his back against the trunk, he reached for his inner pocket and grabbed a Camellia leaf. He had that leaf for a long time... The Camellia leafs are tough, they have some kind of layer that looked like plastic, that's what keeps them from going soft. Yami pushed it against his lips and blew. It was a soothing melody, it echoed through out the lake, this was the song Yami's mother used to sing to him when he was just a kid...It was a Mizu no Kuni Anthem. Yami had one leg dangling in the air while he was sitting there. His eyes were closed, focusing on the melody. He let the Kunais drop on the ground right next to the tree, it wasn't his so there was no point in taking them, plus he had his bones.

She heard the kunai's impact with what sounded like wood, something seemed a little off but she couldn't put her finger on it. Silence followed. Was this person ignoring her? that though pissed her off more than his or her initial presence. Perhaps there was no one there at all, perhaps she was just a little insane. She stood silently her steely grey eyes on the tree tops. She was waiting to see if anything proved her theory right before she started climbing the tree's to find out. Suddenly a melody pierced the mist and carried on the humid air. It was a little haunting to listen to but Yuzumi was infuriated. The coward had failed to respond and ignored her and now found that the time was appropriate to play the countires anthem.
She had been angry about her peace and quiet being diturbed by the invasion of another person but now she was set to kill. It was rude and annoying and now this person was going to eat their grass whistle or what ever the hell they were playing. She wasn't going to waste words on this ignorant fool. She focused chakra to her legs to raise her speed and force she exherted on the ground. She flexed her knee's and when she heard the kunai thud into the earth she leapt. Using the sound of his music to locate him she pushed off of the water and launched herself at where she deduced his location to be. She swung a chakra enhanced kick at the perched ninja when his shape became clear in the tree top. She had lost her patience.

Yami was playing it, he didn't know but he felt like playing it, he never thought it would get the girl enraged... Although she did, when Yami opened his eyes she was already preparing to strike, he ginned a bit has he continued playing it, a enraged opponent is better than a calculating calm one... At least like this she would be too enraged to think of anything. Finally Yami took a better look of her face up close, although she was already in mid-air ready to kick Yami's face in. Yami placed the leaf inside his kimono. He wasn't going to use bones... Not just yet... Yami decided it would be best to avoid that for a while, he let his body fall on the ground, just like a leaf, avoiding the kick. Yami landed on his hands with his stomach pointed at the ground, he looked up with his grey dead doll's eyes behind his sunglasses, she was more than a handful, she used the same technique has Tsunade, a kick that could shatter rock! Yami needed extra-thick bones for this one, if he wasn't careful he could very well loose his head!
Yami got up, cracking his neck and knuckles preparing for the worse. He started making his bones more durable then rock, he would need them like that if he wanted to stand a chance against her. Yami tilted his head,Wow... Very bad timing... Did I interrupt something? It wasn't really my intention, I just wanted to reach Kirigakure... I thought you were a scouting shinobi..., Yami fenced her, if she would attack him it would be best if Yami adapted one of his 'dances' so he could dodge her blows... Although he better not use it, not yet anyways, if she proved to be too tough he had no chance but to use it...

Yuzumi's kick made no contact and her eyes flash furiously towards the escaped target. She twisted with the momentum of her kick and landed skillfully on the branch where he had previously been situated. She had caught a glimps of his appearance and could help but laugh at the thought of someone wearing dark glasses in this fog. He must have been really stupid, the music, the initial disturbance and now this. She listened to him as he landed on the ground below her current perch. She attached her feet to the branch with chakra in a way that was similar to the walking on water technique and allowed her self to swing upside down. Her clothes were form fitting so there was no risk of them falling down but her coat was a different matter as flopped down behind her head, her hair also fell downwards loosely due to gravity. She stared down at his cover eyes.
"If you thought I was just a scouting shinobi you'd have asked me how to get to Kirigakure. I'd have reacted like this anyway since you have the bad sense to disturb me," she snarled at the younger boy below her. She let the chakra hold in her feet go and flipped herself round as she fell towards the earth. She extended a leg to kick at him as she drew close to the ground. She didn't care to speak with him any more, she just wanted to feel the satisfaction of landing a blow on him. She didn't know his abilites so she was cautious in her attack despite the aggressive facade. She also doubted he had any idea what her abilities included and she couldn't forget the advantage she could draw from the lake. She was confident she'd get the beating out of him that she desired with minimal effort. There was nothing wrong with expecting the best outcome.

Has she used the chakra control technique to cling to the tree, she laughed a bit when yami went down on the ground. Yami could only assume it was the glasses, it was the only thing that was out of the ordinary in him. He grinned, it was kind of stupid, why wear sunglasses in the middle of the fog? Well it was to keep people from seeing his eyes, they were very creepy, just like the eyes of porcelain dolls, he didn't like the way people looked at him when he wasn't wearing glasses, in the run he didn't even thought of taking them off, he was so distracted in thought. Yami took off his glasses, putting them inside his kimono and gazed at the girl again, she was surely to attack him, she was infuriated, she seemed like the kind of girl that was always angry, that could be a advantage point....
If you thought I was just a scouting shinobi you'd have asked me how to get to Kirigakure. I'd have reacted like this anyway since you have the bad sense to disturb me
Yami smiled and let out a soft faint laugh, Indeed any normal person would do that, although due to measures beyond my control, I shouldn't even be seen by anyone...That's why I didn't stop and ask., he wasn't smiling now, he was focused on what she would do. As Yami predicted, she charged another chakra kick, Yami sighed and looking up into her eyes. Yami took a quick step to the left, it was a close call, it was when he was about to get hit by the kick. Yami starred into her eyes again, Persistent are we?... Why are you so angry?... It's not like I did anything..., he said, with his normal face, he wasn't smiling or frowning, or anything. Yami's hand was twitching a bit, he wanted to use it at least one time, but that would be risky, he wasn't in mortal peril, for now...

He dodged her kick, as she expected he would, dropping from such a height gave him plenty of time to dodge but it also gave her plenty of momentum to work with. She landed on the soft earth with a roll and flipped onto her hands in a fashion similar to the way he had landed on the ground. She powered herself into the air leg's first whilst twisting her body in another kick at the boy's face. Her speciality was taijutsu, she liked to get in close and pummel her opponants with a barage of powerful hits, a two footed strike was ideal in this. As she continued her assault she thought about what he had said. He didn't wish to be seen. This was a foolish thing to say considering the tension between the great shinobi nations. Perhaps he was trying to infiltrate Kirigakure.
"So you are seeking un-noticed entry to the Hidden Village? And you would tell this to a shinobi of this nation and expect me to let you pass by?!" she asked fiercely in the midst of her kick. As a jounin of Kirigakure this new information gave her a real reason to attack him. She was going to beat him for annoying her, capture him and question him and then take him to the village to see what the hell was going on. If he was working for one of the other nations this could provoke a war, so unstable were the relationships between the countries. He was now a threat to her home. He needed to be captured and questioned.

Yami looked as she landed close to him, although he wasn't expecting her to be so resourceful has to pull off another kick using the momentum from the other one. He didn't have time to dodge this one, although if a kick like that landed on his face, it would be troublesome. Yami used the little amount of time to make the bones of his face harder, but not erupting from his flesh so the girl wouldn't notice. He also created another layer of bone between his skin and his muscles so it wouldn't bruise has much. Yami braced for impact and stood there, not moving a muscle, his eyebrow rose up, he didn't needed the extra layer after all... She wasn't has tough has Tsunade. He did the same for the other strikes, he just stood there without moving, but he was still controlling his bones.
He cracked his neck then replied to what she said, You misunderstood my ittentions... I'm not here on a mission, I'm here for my personal gain., Yami gave a evil smile although a bit faint, his creepy grey eyes looking into hers, he was enjoying that a bit, but he wondered if this would talk too long... He had to get going, although it was best if he disposed of the girl... It would be hard to enter the village when they were alarmed. And I assure you I mean no harm to your village what-so-ever, I couldn't care less about your village has amatter of fact..., he gave a distasteful look, he didn't like Kirigakure, it was the village that killed off his clan, and asked for his mother so they wouldn't wage war against Konohagakure... That sacrifice was for naught!

Yuzumi smiled as her feet found his face. There was sick satisfaction to be gained in landing a blow on an opponant, especially one that had annoyed her. She tucked her legs in to pull herself upright once more. She stood facing him, his greepy grey eyes glinting in the little light that was penetrating the fog. Her arms were up, she was poised to strike again. Her favourite tactic was attacking relentlessly without creating opening but she paused now, he was talking himself into a hole. For all she knew his personal gain could be the same as the creep Orochimaru's back when he impersonated the Kazekage and launched a full out assault on Konoha. She frowned at him, her steely eyes looking him up and down. He was defintely younger than her and he was coming across as someone with little experience in the field as a ninja.
"If your intentions don't lie with Kirigakure turn round and go home. This is the only opertunity I'll give you. Leave now or you're coming to Kirigakure with me as a prisoner, unconcious too if I get my way," she explained, her voice little more than a vicious growl. She was angry, sadistic and rather cruel, even to the people of the village. But she was loyal and concerned for the well being of her village. Even if he wasn't posing a threat to the village directly, if he was lying and had some motive that involved his own village it could spur the nations into war. She was going to do her best as a Kirigakure jounin to avoid war. She loved to fight, she loved to feel superior but she knew that her country would be better off without fighting. She faced the youngster with her head high, her damp black hair dripping on her shoulders. She felt a sense of pride about being from Kirigakure and if he dared to continue she would act with her country and her village at heart.

Yami lifted an eyebrow when he noticed her smile has she hit him, was she that obsessed with hitting him? Did that make her feel happy? Yami certainly didn't feel a thing...Yami tried to see if the place where she hit was bruised, touching it and seeing if the bones were broken, not even a scratch, that means he was improving. Are you happy now? You finally hit me... If that makes you happy, by all means continue, I assure you I can't feel any of those hits..., Yami told her sighing a bit, would she continue doing it? It was kind of annoying even if it didn't hurt.
Yami was a bit pissed with himself... Why was he giving it all away? He was burying himself deeper, his situation wasn't good and he keeps screwing it up, now she most certainly won't give him a chance. Well... I guess now is really the point of no return... I can't go back empty handed to the village and suffer punishement... I must continue on., Yami thought to himself. Yami finally moved when her attacks stopped, he fenced her, his eyes were the only thing that was directed to her. He raised an eyebrow has she frowned a bit, why was she frowning?...
If your intentions don't lie with Kirigakure turn round and go home. This is the only opportunity I'll give you. Leave now or you're coming to Kirigakure with me as a prisoner, unconscious too if I get my way.
Yami's mouth made a small wave, and his eyebrows rose up simultaneously, she was really determined to defend her village, although backing up wasn't an option, he had to continue he had to find any information on the reigning Mizukage... His expression became null again, he was still fencing her and he looked like he had no expression at all, I find that offer very kind, it seems you can control yourself... Although I must refuse it, what I need in Kirigakure is too important for me to just give up. But I can assure you I mean no harm to it. The only thing I wish from Kirigakure is information, and by the looks of things... If I asked you, you'd probably ignore the question and attack me... And I must say I have no intention of coming to Kirigakure has a prisoner., Yami sighed again, he had no intention of harming that girl, although if she kept pushing it, she might find out how sharp Yami's bones are...

******** Yuzumi stared him down, her frown deepened. He seemed determined to go to Kirigakure, he really wanted something, he really needed something. She considered escorting him nicely, but after his comments about controlling herself and how her blow hadn't hurt him had riled her up again. She was gonna hurt him, make him regret opening his mouth. Swiftly she formed a short string of hand seals and then spat out the senbon needles she'd called forth from her mouth. Fukumi Hari no jutsu (hidden needles technique) was one of her favourites as it always carried an element of surprise. The needles whistled as the sliced through the air in the direction of the boy.
"What do you want in Kirigakure?! Where are you from!? What is your name!? Why should I let you pass?!" she asked with her furious voice. She wanted to assess the risk of one individual ninja. He had no headband visible which to her suggested he was trying to keep his identity hidden. His eyes were distinctive, the red marks around the dull grey orbs, perhaps that was the reason for the ridiculous dark glasses. She made a point of memorising his appearance lest he get away. She doubted he was anything she couldn't handle but if she was proven wrong he would ba a challange for any jounin. The way he had taken such a sharp blow to the face had un-nerved her a little but his cockiness in response to it had further angered her. She did not like him. He was a brat.********
